How can I recover deleted emails in Exchange?
While cleaning up your mailbox, it may happen that you accidentally delete an important email. This means that the email is no longer recoverable from the trash of your email account. However, with Exchange, you have the option to recover these deleted emails.
Exchange refers to this type of trash as the "Dumpster." Completely deleted emails are stored in this Dumpster for 14 days before they are permanently deleted from the server. Therefore, before contacting your host and requesting a restoration from the current backup, we recommend searching the Dumpster of your mailbox.
To recover deleted emails, select the Trash folder in your folder list. This folder is often labeled as "Deleted Items." The folder may also be named "Trash" or a similar term depending on the version. Right-click on the corresponding folder and select "Recover Deleted Items." Search for the accidentally deleted email in the respective list and restore it by clicking on it.
