  • Yes. IMAP (and POP3) is included with all Domainserver products.

For packages ordered prior to August 2013, IMAP is disabled by default and must be enabled at my.world4you.com under E-Mail & Exchange > Mail Administration. If you want to customise the setting for each mailbox, click Edit next to the mailbox and check/uncheck IMAP.

  • Common errors in this context are invalid entries in a .htaccess file. Please search for this file on your webspace and check the entries. Entries such as options, php_flag, php_value etc. are not allowed and must be deleted or commented out. Most of the changes can be made at my.world4you.com under Webspace > Settings.

If this is not the cause, please also examine your error log file, which is available in the ErrorLogs tab. Additionally, you can always contact our support at Help / Support > Helpdesk.
